Great Melodic metal with a fantasy twist!

I have lately been getting into "FANTASY POWER METAL" they actually have long hair and know how to play guitar solos! Thae bands that I have been spinning lately are:
The Storyteller
Sonata Artica
Falconer
Arachnes

Awsome stuff anyone know it?

never heard of those bands, but check out Dragon Force. sounds like they might be up right your ally.

<font size="3" face="Arial">Gaaaaah holy crap...dragons. I almost forgot Dragonland! One of my favorites (d'oh)! I got my CD autographed, straight from the band. I used to email with the guitarist, but lost his addy [img]frown.gif[/img] They sound a lot like Rhapsody, but heavier. Also check out Memento Mori and Edguy.

But wait...there's more! LOL: Skyclad, Morifade, Korpilaani, Demons and Wizards, Blind Guardian, Praying Mantis, Artension, Gamma Ray,Iron Saviour, Hammerfall, Pegazus, and Axenstar. And if you don't mind some heavier stuff, Amon Amarth and Bal Sagoth.
